Finger Lickin' Gross & The Silence of Hepatitis!

I have a friend, let’s call her “Tasha” just in case she’s reading this website.

The girl is mega-sensitive!

Dilemma: Tasha has this disgusting habit of taking small pieces of food from other people’s plates and eating them. She often does this with her fingers. She’ll lick her fingers then go back in for more food.

Yuck!

It’s totally gross to watch her do this.

But I say absolutely nothing.

Because she’s mega-sensitive not to mention Tasha also has a slight mental incapacity, i’m too chicken to bring this nasty habit of hers up.

And to add more fuel to the fire, I know for a fact that she doesn’t always wash her hands after she goes to the bathroom whether it’s number one or number two.

I know, nice!

Before you say anything, I already know that I should speak up to her about this nasty habit because part of me knows that this is a health hazzard and alot of other people won’t be as tolerant of this nasty habit as me.

But still I remain silent.

But again, I am going to be a hypocrite and say I hope that none of you out there who read this story will be silent like me.

Speak up and be a true friend to your friend!

P.S. I keep telling myself to do this but still I remain silent.

Gosh, I wish life was less complicated and more sanitary!

Tell her Tina, for God’s sake..Break it to her gently, but do it..She could not only put a friendship at risk, but many people.

Tasha is not an uncommon behaviour. Many are just like her. But yes, why don’t you tell her how dangerous this habit is? I know she will get angry but that’s nothing to worry about. As a good friend you should aware her how bad is this. I do not hasitate to tell it to anyone, because I can’t tolerate nastiness around me. And I know sometimes people feel sad about it.

Thanks, Oscar & Sasmita:

I’m going to force myself to tell her.
God, I dread doing it!
But your right, I really should.

Thanks for the advice and comments!
I really appreciate it!
