Gee whiz! Looking at the above picture it’s hard for me to believe that John McCain was ever that young!

Anyhoo, back to the show.

Now that the circus has left town (i.e. The Democrats finally have a nominee) the real showdown can begin. McCain vs. Obama for the Presidency of the United States.

But before we can really and truly get down to the nitty-gritty, the American voting public has got to know one thing. Who will be McCain’s and Obama’s partner-in-crime. (i.e. Possibly the new Veep of the U.S.)

Although I am curious about who both men will pick, i’m extra, extra, extra curious about John McCain’s choice for the simple discriminatory fact that he’s 71 years old.

And people don’t hate me for saying this but let’s keep it real, if elected this senior citizen could kick the bucket at anytime during his tenure. (Although to continue keeping it real, so could Barack Obama because let’s face it when it’s our time to meet our maker it’s our time but John McCain’s chances of meeting his maker soon are through the f-ing roof!)

So in John McCain’s case I look at it this way, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

For Senator McCain I think that he should make out a “bucket list” like Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman did and at the top of that list should be selecting a substantially younger running mate to put on the Republican ticket just in case he kicks the bucket if he is elected.

I mean don’t get me wrong, the individual, male or female, black or white, straight or gay (Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Like a Republican would ever pick a gay running mate!) that either candidate chooses should obviously have a strong political background, be able to make tough decisions, be smart, honest, (Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! An honest politician!) should have similiar political views as the running mate, etc.

But it sure wouldn’t hurt if the running mate was a youngin’ say between 40-50 years of age, just in case.

Because if John McCain selects a running mate about the same age that he is, the Republicans are totally screwed and the Democrats will rule the White House.

So John McCain if you are reading this article and i’m 100% positive that you are, please please please consider selecting a substantially younger running mate to put on the Republican ticket because let’s face it conservative homeboy at age 71 your old as dirt ass could kick the bucket at any time!
