Adultery sees its fruition in resentment and broken relations. Still considered, and rightly so, a forbidden path to tread on in Indian society. Adultery, as far as my viewpoint is concerned, denies you the pleasure of being trustworthy to your closest being.

Adultery is as common as shake hands. Even former Australian prime minister Bob Hawk confessed cheating on his wife 20 years ago.

This is an issue that must not be taken too seriously given the lifestyle people live these days. Stress, boredom, monotonous chores, demanding spouses, marital discords, financial crisis etc are leading people to seek solace in things like alcohol, drugs, clandestine affairs etc.

My heart goes out to Eliot Spitzer and even the young girl he sought services from. In the same time, I wonder what his wife Silda might have have gone through after this episode.

When we see our peers destressing themselves through activities are termed as social taboos like availing escort services, wife/partner swapping, visiting swinging clubs etc we are tempted to involve ourselves too. This is human psychology.

cool theory. i’m starting to believe you now. more often than not the excitement is in breaking norms than following it dully. sometimes clandestine sex can spice up a dull marriage where sex is just an everyday activity. adultery is good. we must support it.
